False advertisement of travel insurance policy.

Discrimination against members of the Armed Forces.

Agents lie about trip cancellation policy, then refer you to a third-party insurance company to resolve any claims.

The worst travel company in the world.

I am an active duty military member, and purchased travel tickets from ONE TRAVEL. At the time I purchased tickets on line, I called ONE TRAVEL to confirm that purchasing travel insurance would protect me in case my military obligations prevented my ability to travel!. When I purchased the insurance I also explained my military duties to the ONE TRAVEL agent, and was assured that my policy would allow for a complete refund of the purchase price of the tickets:.

However, when I did find out that my leave had to be cancelled due to military requirements, I called ONE TRAVEL and was informed that the travel claim would need to be handled by a third-party organization - SEVEN CORNERS.. The ONE TRAVEL agent assured me (again) that my claim would be eligible for full reimbursement, but recommended that I contact SEVEN CORNERS before canceling the trip'.

When I contacted SEVEN CORNERS, I was informed that military obligations are not significant enough to qualify for this travel insurance program|. I was also led to believe that ONE TRAVEL over-states the travel insurance policy at the time of sale/. False advertisement (verbal or written) is fraud".

At least two ONE TRAVEL agents informed me on the phone that military service is included in the travel insurance policy". In fact, military service is specifically excluded in their insurance program summary, which means some of their agents lied to me & sold goods and services under false pretenses.

I HAD A TRIP TO ITALY PLANNED WITH MY HUSBAND. PURCHASED AIRLINE TICKETS ON MY OWN THROUGH ONE TRAVEL WITH TRAVEL INSURANCE. TOUR WAS CANCELLED BY THE TOUR COMPANY AND ONE TRAVEL TELLS ME THAT IS NOT A COVERED BENEFIT UNDER THE INSURANCE PLAN. THEY REFUSE TO CREDIT ME, AND WANT TO CHARGE ME MORE THAN THE ADVERTISED PRICE ON THEIR SITE FOR DIFFERENT TICKETS. CANNOT CHANGE AIRLINE FROM OUR ORIGINAL BOOKING EVEN THOUGH WE ARE PAYING A PENALTY FEE OF 275 PER TICKET.
