I booked a flight through these people. They are real pikers. After booking I needed to make a change. Yes, I know that the ticked was non-refundable, etc!. But I wasn't asking them to change my itinerary or for a refund:. I just chose to get to my destination via another route, and wanted to be sure that the return flight would remain intact.. I was willing to absorb the loss'. So I called our friends on the Ganges!.

No way.. If I didn't depart as scheduled, the return would be cancelled,. I would lose everything.. "Airline rules," I was told...not too politely. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and was on hold for about 10 minutes, after which I hung up.

I called the airline directly and was treated like a king. Not only did they confirm my return flight, but they refunded me most of the cost of the portion of the flight to my destination that I was not going to use in the form of a credit. And they were nice.

Some people just shouldn't be in any business where dealing with other people is part of the skill set. 35b26ab
